Newark Mayor and Harrington Park native Cory Booker easily won the endorsement of The Bergen County Democratic Committee Wednesday.
Booker won with 301 votes.
Trailing him were Rep. Frank Pallone of Monmouth County with 79 votess, Rep. Rush Holt of Mercer County with 41 votes and Assembly Speaker Sheila Oliver of Newark with four votes.
All four are running in a Democratic primary to succeed the late U.S. Senator Frank Lautenberg of Cliffside Park.
Balloting took place during a convention at the Hackensack High School gymnasium.
